ལྗང་བུ་ལགས་ནི་བོད་ཀྱི་དེང་དུས་སྙན་ངག་འབྲི་མཁན་ཐོག་མའི་གྲས་ཅིག་ཡིན་པ་དང་། བོད་ཕྱི་ནང་ལ་ཤུགས་རྐྱེན་ཤིན་དུ་ཆེ། དེ་རིང་ཁོང་གིས་ང་ཚོར་དྲན་རྒྱུ་སྐྱེན་པའི་སྙན་ངག “༽ རྒྱལ་མོའི་ལམ་ཀ།”ཞེས་པའི་བརྙན་ཐུང་འདི་གནང་ཡོད། སྙན་ངག་འདི་ཐོག་མར་གླུ་གཞས་གཏོང་མཁན་ཞིག་ལ་ནེའུ་ཡོག་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དང་འབྲེལ་བ་ཡོད་པའི་གཞས་ཚིག་གཅིག་ལ་དམིགས་ནས་བྲིས་ཡོད། རྒྱལ་མོའི་ས་ཁུལ་ལམ། ཁུན་སི་(Queens) ས་ཁུལ་ནི་ནེའུ་ཡོག་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གྱི་མངའ་ཁོངས་བོད་རིགས་འཚོ་སྡོད་བྱེད་མཁན་མང་ཤོས་ཀྱི་ས་ཁུལ་ལ་གོ། ལྗང་བུ་ལགས་ནི་རྩོམ་པ་པོ་དང་། གཏམ་བརྗོད་འབྲི་མཁན། སྒྱུ་རྩལ་བ། དེ་བཞིན་གློག་བརྙན་བཟོ་སྐྲུན་པ་ཞིག་ཀྱང་རེད། ཁོང་གིས་ཕ་རན་སི་ནས་ངེད་ཚོར་དེ་རིང་གི་སྙན་ངག་དེ་བསྐུར་གནང་མཛད་ཡོད། (སྙན་རྩོམ་འདི་ལྗང་བུ་ལགས་ཀྱི་ཆོག་མཆན་མེད་པར་རྒྱུད་འགོད་པར་སྐྲུན་གནང་མི་ཆོག་པ་དགོངས་འཇགས་ཞུ།)
Jangbu, who is one of Tibet’s leading and most influential modern poets, shares with us an evocative recitation and video of his poem, “The Road of the Queen in Queens,” for our last week of Poetry Month. The work was originally written for a singer who had asked Jangbu for lyrics for a song about New York City. The “Queens” in the poem refers to the Queens Borough of New York, which, incidentally, is home to the majority of the city’s Tibetan community. Jangbu, who is also a writer, playwright, artist, and filmmaker, sent us this poetry offering from his home in France.
