| Notes | ri mo gcig yod/ This contemporary painting features an old and knotty tree on a hilltop or mountain pass at night. Aside the tree is a yak and a cairn with prayer flags waving in the wind. Behind the scene is a large golden moon(?) flanked by what appears to be two other smaller moons. Only a small section of the needles on this evergreen remain green. The picture is accompanied by the same propitiatory verse that has appeared on all four issues of Sbrang char in 1990. |
