| Notes | This short story is based on Don grub rgyal's experiences at Rma lho Prefecture Nationalities Teacher Training School, located more than sixty kilometers from the author's home. During the summer and winter vacations, Don grub rgyal made the journey on foot. Once he was struck by a serious illness and had to stop attending school for one year. According to Pema Bhum (1995), these experiences are \"partially recounted\" in this short story. |
